To me, it's violent and sexual, and represents all the things that the darkest, raunchiest days of the band conjures up.
And I don't know if it's been mentioned here at all - don't recall seeing it, but the diamond is heart-shaped and being stabbed by a dagger - a dagger to the heart. Clearly a reference at the loss of their bandmate, no?

If by standard, you mean not that different from the one below, OK. But to me, there are still 3 different album covers for this release: the hands, the female body, and the eye tongues.

The eye tongues belong to the Blue Vinyl. With the hands you mean the standard cover (like the black Vinyl)? Where's the female body?
I heard mention of 23 songs, but never once heard that the leftovers were for another album. Typically in the past the leftovers were not used for the follow up albums.

With yesterday the press conference and the launch of the single “Angry” I am really looking forward to hear the new album. And also great to hear about the track with Bill and Charlie together.

You're right, the two tracks with Charlie are "Live by the sword" and "Mess it Up" (confirmed by Ronnie in the PC) My mistake in a previous post....
Thank you, but then who is playing drums on "Driving Me Too Hard" if it's a B&L outtake? I didn't think that Steve Jordan participated in the B&L sessions. Confused.....
They might have recorded it again with Steve.

I think the shattered diamond tongue by itself is decent and might have been enough for a nice cover, but some of the other concepts and designs we've seen are a bit overkill imo.
The smashing fist, the stabbing knife, the multiple tongue and eyes....all a bit too busy, sterilized, and artificial, and really no heart and soul with all the computerized graphic designs.
Hopefully some of the songs on the album are a bit more down to earth without trying to be too edgy and contemporary as those designs are.
This alone says it all, without saying too much:
