Ollie accented Charlie's drumming with very unique results. Utilizing The Steel Association on tour was part of the same thinking. Ollie having a full kit as percussionist was a change from working with (the real) Rocky Dijon or Ray Cooper who stuck with conga drums. Likewise, the minimalist approach of Michael Shrieve or Mike Carabello (both from Santana) on EMOTIONAL RESCUE or TATTOO YOU. Sly Dunbar's programmed percussion and drum tracks on UNDERCOVER were the only other time there was such a tremendous deviation to the band's sound until the two tours with Steve Jordan after Charlie passed away.

But "very unique": never knew there were grades or percentages of "unique" since "unique" literally means of in itself with no other.
But, you know, DIRTY WORK.

Thank you for pointing out my egregious error. My only explanation for this unforgivable oversight was that I was preoccupied completing an online preorder for an item with no release date on Amazon.

Funny you should say that since the album contains an update of "State of Shock."

But wait! Loopy Dupa (or whatever her name is) is beatboxing. And Stevie Wonder plays maracas. And Pull McOckov (credit to Ray Davies for that joke) is on bass. Ringo is playing tambourine. Honest!
