I think this is the real beginning of the promo activities for the new album. Gain interest!

In the UM press release about this, today, was the following:

"The Rolling Stones also announced a new online concert event celebrating the release of GRRR Live!. The concert will take place February 2 at 8PM GMT / 8PM Eastern / 8PM Pacific / 8PM AWST (February 3)."

No other info...

I like they're embracing new formats. Better this than being on Keith's fax distribution list for new album info.

Artists post song clips and vid clips they will allow on TikTok and they get royalties so it is all on the up and up but also makes money. It will be in the TikTok library if allowed for use - fyi

I am 46 and I use tik tok, also for business. I think it is very clever for the Rolling Stones and it was due. I saw many, many young people on Stones concerts this past summer. It is logic. There are many young Stones fans out there. And more will come.

Is Ronnie also going to be on TikTok? I see The Rolling Stones, Mick, and Keith, but haven't seen Ronnie. I did a google search for Ronnie Wood, but just came up with fakes pretending to be Ronnie Wood. Just curious. I don't want anything to do with TikTok.

As a tie-in to the 2012 archival concert release, fans can post their memories or themselves singing along and it will be streamed or something as a live event. Not for me, but whatever connects with our segmented markets...
