Okay, shameless self-promotion--> I think y'all need a copy of my book on The Rolling Stones,
through the eyes of the *fans.* Back some years ago I interviewed fans on their introduction to the band, their favorite band members and shows, fan gatherings, and meetings with individual Stones.

Looks interesting! Actually, it has reminded me of another good one, 'Ronnie Wood's Smile: And Where It Led' by Wendy Ellison Mullen:

The author is also a singer, and I discovered her, her music and her book when researching my own book ('Undercover: 500 Rolling Stones Cover Versions That You Must Hear!).
Here's her version of 'Dance (Pt. 1)' which I included in my "500":

This is the book that started it all for me. It had Stones songs sheet music in the back.

I never read Jerry Hall’s Tall Tales. I’d like to out of curiosity, but it’s out of print and used copies for sale are too expensive. I don’t know why the publisher doesn’t re-release it as an ebook. That wouldn’t be costly to do and I’m sure they’d sell a few copies.

The Stones by Philip Normal is one of the better written and researched ones.

The best one is yet to be mentioned: «Phelge's Stones»!
A well-written tale from a guy who was there from the beginning.

I never got round to getting that, something I need to rectify! The Brian years have always been my primary interest.
