Slightly off-topic: there's a 18-disc Vinyl-Box: "The Rolling Stones Singles: Volume One 1963-1966". Release-date is 27-May-2022, Label is Universal Music - [www.Amazon.co.uk] , [www.Amazon.co.jp] .
Decca's way on cash in for the 60th anniversary
Hasn't this already been done? What collector doesn't have this yet? That's as bad as Japan selling SHM CD Stones singles for $50 when you throw in shipping. What idiot would collect that when you can get the same recording on a Greatest Hits SHM CD package for the same price?
I personally love the 7” size of those Japanese singles along with Beggars and I think LIB? If they redid the entire catalog in 7” sized cds, I’d be forced to buy the whole damn thing again. Miniature LP versions along the lines of the 1990’s 71-81 LP’s for the entire catalog would be divine.
My god it must be great to have money to burn.
And far be it from me to judge what anyone else does with his/her money. Personally, I don't understand how many on this board afford to go to as many shows as they do all over the world. But if one can do it, all the best to him/her. We are all just trying to live our only little bit of happiness.
