>For comparison USA=44%
44% of the USA population has been vaccinated? That does not sound correct.

My source is [ourworldindata.org]
Scroll down a bit and select 'Table', and then you can sort on columns.
If you sub-select Vaccinations you get 45.94% for USA, but if you select People Vaccinated you get 29.77%.

30% have had at least one shot so far as of March 29th so maybe 33% by now.

Feels like it's been an eternal wait, but finally I'm getting my first jab on Thursday.

For San Diego County, now in a less restrictive tier, note the requirements for OUTDOOR LIVE EVENTS WITH ASSIGNED SEATING:
. Max 33%, includes suites with 25% occupancy per suite
• Weekly worker testing program
• In-state visitors only, check for current CDPH Travel Advisory in effect
• Primarily in-seat concessions (no concourse sales)
• Max 67% if all guests are tested or show proof of full vaccination

Some interesting recent news that contradicts earlier reports (like much Covid news):

Welcome to the gang DP! I had my first one yesterday (Pfizer). Only a bit of a sour arm. All baby boomers yesterday

Doesn't contradict anything, Surface spread is low, not non-existent.
Spread of the virus amongst vaccinated people was unknown until the data was available to examine. Because of how the virus was... wait for it... NEW.
People looking for experts to be 100% correct in hindsight before the data is even available are ridiculous and looking for sht to stir.

My second vaccine in the arm. Getting closer to enjoying some things I have missed.

Haven’t there been cases of blood clotting in people who have had the Pfizer jab?
