I wonder how much Keef's input to this release was.

I'm still confused as to who would 'buy' this 'album'....
Us oldies have already got these greatest hits several times, and the young pups just stream the songs they want to hear.
Can someone dumb it down for me?

I'm still somewhat confused with the date: why does it say 22-May-2018 when the actual Performance was on the 25th? Maybe the Rehearsal-pictures are from the 22nd?
I guess it's probably a mistake.

I preordered the 3cd version through the rs site. 26€ including shipping. not too bad for a triple set.

diverseharmonicsIsn't Dave Grohl around fifty-something years old now?..hardly a hip youngin' anymore.Quote

Not if - like Jagger - you're obsessive about keeping the Stones as a trendy hip entity in the eyes of the 12-20 music buyers. In that regard Grohl is the nec plus ultra.
Sure but it's the age of the bums that are jiggling in the pit that counts not the age of the bums that are jiggling onstage. Translation : Grohl just turned 50 but he draws young crowds.
Jagger wants the same for the Stones. If you draw an older crowd you can charge more per ticket but your band is automatically rejected in the "nostalgia act/semi-hasbeen" category. Jagger wants to avoid that.
yes. Shipping was 10€ for finlandQuote

According to the tracks lengths on Qobuz, we're getting the album versions - not the single edits. Must be a first since the 70's on a Rolling Stones compilation...
Also Wild Horses (Live) is available as a download in CD quality on the same webiste.

I love when we’re planning like it’s 1999.
Go ahead Rolling Stones, play Gaza Egypt, prove me wrong...I will move mountains of rocks to get to that show
*sigh
Anyway say if a run deep purchase of RS greatest hits were to puncture the market.
Shouldn’t the RS get ‘something’ for that?? It IS their music!
I am guilty of owning many artists greatest hit albums. Yes.
If I own a greatest hit record I love, play over over,
shouldn’t the musicians get paid who made it?
Sorry, man, wrong siteQuote

Christ on a cracker.
All the whining about this release is pathetic.
Don't like it? Don't buy it.
"Waaa.. I don't like it, I already have it"
"Waaa.. Why didn't they use the duets I like"
"Waaa.. Why didn't they release new music instead"
Lawd.
Their other greatest hit releases are mostly out of print, and they put together a new one.
They also threw in a bonus live disc with the artists that they could and the performances they enjoyed. Like it, don't like it, buy it, don't buy it, but give the whining a rest, it's tiresome and unwarranted.
