Actually the LD terms & conditions do not seem to limit you to buying only one pair:

The 2014 wording:

[m.facebook.com]

The 2017 wording:

And of course, if you're going with a friend, you can both buy a pair and just see which one turns the better tickets. I think this is what Gazza was saying.

Be aware that Ticketmaster may have set a limit of one pair of LD's per "household" though:

Thats exactly what I meant. Team up with someone and double your options. Sell the other pair and at least get some money back on your investment.

Alternatively, if both pairs are not what youre happy with, re-sell them and put the money towards buying tickets on the day of the show in the category you want.

for stadium shows, there'll always be people selling on the day of the gig. You really shouldnt need to be paying over face value for what will already be expensive tickets. Avoid secondary sites - those idiots will be taking a bath if thousands of them are trying to resell $800 for above face value.

Just be patient. Who wants to be paying $1,000 to stand in the pit only to realise that the guy next to you paid a tenth of that?

Any idea if it’d be possible to pull two sets of lucky dip tickets?

Had plans to get my dad a pair for Christmas to take a friend and now my S/O wants to go so I was going to try for two.

Plan would be buy one set for my dad then hope I can pull a second. Or try on both computer and mobile.

you'll need two different credit cards and maybe even two different names/adresses
My plan is to use my parents credit card for my dads tickets and reimburse my mom so he can easily pick them up day of(discussed this with my mom) and my credit card for the seats for me and my S/O.

How do you know what you got? I thought with LD you get escorted into the venue once you pick them up so there’s no time to sell.

Hey Gazz, glad to see u back on IORR !! OK, can I buy two pairs of LDs with just my own card as I did on the 50 and Counting tour which I did in separate transactions. Or has it changed? My plan is to pick up both pairs as i did in 2013, and just pick the better pair for Claudia and me. And then yes, if possible, resell the other pair as long as they don't escort us in and as long as I won't miss out on getting to the pit as early as possible if we were to get pit.

In the UK I also had 2 tickets left from LD pick-up which I ended up giving away because I was not able to sell them.

How do you sell these tickets? Through IORR or just waiting outside of the venue on a possible buyer?

I thought with LD you had to go right in the stadium?so you can leave and sell them?

In EU, you could pick up and leave. You good get them as soon as they were giving out and go back to hotel or bar until showtime or sell them.

Can they actually make you stay inside the stadium if you choose to leave and go buy better tickets before the show starts in case the Lucky Dips you pick up are real crappy tickets? (Of course, flipping bad Lucky Dips is another story…)

The only way/time they could escort you inside the stadium would be the time after soundcheck is done. And that's usually quite late in the afternoon. No patrons are let inside before the soundcheck. And Lucky Dips can usually be picked up way before the doors open, right?

Summer tour they were giving out around noon? I believe. They encouraged fans to pick up early to avoid crowds. Earliest you could get in stadium was 5pm, after soundcheck.

The LD pickup time varied a bit from city to city but it was mostly definitely before doors. I guess Stuttgart was one of the cities where the LD counter opened quite late (and it was a chaos with people not lining up, all rushing to the only box office window that was open!)

Can someone please explain the gold circle to me. Is that only available through VIP tickets?

No. They will also be available in the general sale and non- VIP.

??
No Golden Circle tickets will be offered here in the US.
Golden Circle, a standing area behind the pit in the UK and elsewhere, will be replaced with seats for No Filter USA. Unless I am misunderstanding the question, then... never mind cool smiley

I wouldn't be so sure, Golden Circle is simply an area of higher priced tickets and has existed for seats as well as GA. Whether GA or seats is irrelevant, they are merely premium tickets offered at premium prices. I seriously doubt that idea won't continue to exist for these shows. They may not be called Golden Circle but you can bet they'll still exist in one form or another.

Of course, and nothings certain yet.
The maps all indicate seats in lieu of a GC standing area.

Premium priced seats, but seats nonetheless.
Not seeing where we disagree.
Seems straightforward.

Imagine no Gold circle
It's easy if you try.
No VIP or platinum,
The prices way too high.

Imagine all the Stones fans, living life in peace...yoo hoo -ooo...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one...
I hope the Stones won't cheat us
And we can all live as one.

2 order limit across the tour for Amex, probably typical 8 limit for all other presales.

Ticket Price Mystery???

Has anyone seen how much tickets will cost? Normally when you log into an event on Ticketmaster before it goes on sale, you can see the price range, but not for these Stones shows. It seems pretty strange. I don't recall ticket prices ever being a "secret" right up until the tickets actually go on sale... for any event.

"You'll be studying history and you'll be down the gym. And I'll be down the pub, probably playing pool and drinking."

Just to get an idea of the scalpers: [www.VividSeats.com] , [www.StubHub.com] , [SeatGeek.com] .

[www.JamBase.com] says Ticketmaster prices are from $25.50 to $500.00 .

This is across the board on Ticketmaster, not just the Stones,

Either it was an oversight on the recent revamp or more likely they don't want to give you time to talk yourself out of it.

But c'mon, we already know how much they will be, if not down to the penny. Just like we already know the setlist.

So what would you say a run of the mill, first level seat will run?

Jambase says some cities start at $25.50, like Chicago, but Seattle starts at $44.50, Pasadena $67.81, and Philadelphia $99.50.

Could be they're basing it on secondary market prices, or maybe Jambase has the inside scoop (unlikely, but who knows).

...or maybe they're just trying to piss off Philadelphia.winking smiley

$500 sounds a little low but maybe the higher price will be platinum (which are flex priced) and VIP.

Apparently the presale code CLOUD will be valid for the local radio presales which start on Thursday at 10 AM local.

At least Boston, Chicago and Denver use the same code.
