A late seventies outtake. Not bad, but sounds a bit outdated today. Not in the late 70s though. I would have filled its place on a record just as well as some other songs.
Maybe on Emotional Rescue or the b-side of Tattoo You?

Recorded for EMOTIONAL RESCUE. It would've fit brilliantly on it.

This ended up the b-side of She Was Hot from Undercover - released as shaped picture disk vinyl single which I bought when it was released:



Thought it was a treasure then and still do, and should have made it on the album itself.
Also has a Tattoo You side two vibe, and would have perfectly there.

A lot better than much of what was on Undercover. Got the EP when it came out and its been a favourite ever since. Theres been a couple other b sides that should have been on albums, but I guess that it happens to every band.

Curious as the who wrote the lyrics to I Think I'm Going Mad. Considering Keith gave it a shot, I'm thinking it might have been he who wrote them as it's not often (if ever) that he'll sing Mick's lyrics.
Sounds like a Keith tune musically (though it also sounds like Worried About You)... but maybe Mick helped flesh it out by adding a few lyrics in the end.

Such a great song... really sticks with you after a few listens.
Kinda haunting in a way, the lyrics are amongst the best they've written.
