Enough of the obscure green bands. Add some veteran rockers. George Thorogood, Santana, Steve Miller, Donovan, Lee Michaels, Jethro Tull, Blue Oyster Cult etc...

Any news about the support acts 2018?
In 2017 I think "The Struts" in Zürich were great.
Saw them opening for The Who in Quebec. Great sound, great stage presence, great energy. Nice band with some great songs.
I'd like to see them again.

I think "DeWolff" would be a great opener, too

The Strypes would fit the bill perfectly.
Struts also a good idea.
Jake Bugg.
Paul Weller.
But ultimately go with Primal Scream.

Dublin could get an up and coming Irish act or a known Irish act
Rumours are Snow Patrol who in fact have a night off from there mini irish tour on the 17th May. Ed Sheeran is in town on the 17th but there's no way in hell he will support

Going still on the Ska note...What about MADNESS for London...Why not think they would be a great opener...

Give me a break. Obscure?!
Music has moved on so much since the 70s.

I heard that she will joining the Stones on stage - probably reprising her duet on Gimme Shelter.

I wonder if the Stones have much to do with picking the opening act or if it’s
primarily the promoter? Seems I was told the promoter picked the opening acts
on the Zip Code tour.
Fantastic news this morning...Quote
