Norwegian leading newspapers went apeshit when "Stripped" was issued back in 1995. They gave it six points out of six, both in VG and Dagbladet. It looks like some baby-boomers in the editorship finally got their Rolling Stones dream come true. I think they were too quick. They should have given it some more listenings. The music mag Mojo gives it 3 out of 5 in their Rolling Stones special edition from 2003. That looks more fair to me.

Are you just reading the 1995 newspapers now? I don't get it.

I'd say four out of five just because they didn't include so many songs they were playing at the time.Also,the version of Angie can't match the one from Nasty Remixes,there have been better versions of Street Fighting Man and Dead Flowers but,overall it is excellent.The inclusion of Jump On Top Of Me would have been nice.

It is a great CD, like having them in your living room. I absolutely love it and play it every party I host. I saw Don Was at the Wiltern show in 2002 and thanked him for this gift. The video of making Stripped is also worth watching.

It would have deserved 6 out of 6 if the tracks from "Stripped Companion" were included. I'd give it 5 out of 6 - great record!

I love that album.
Great real live versions, and I love all the re-recorded tunes live in the studio.

Yes, but why aren't the stones playing one gig in Norway this tour... that's just cold...

I don't care if they draw 20,000 or 30,000 or however many, they oughta play Oslo !!!
