Yeah, but I have the feeling that it's only his Sun period and the first RCA session that Stones fans really appreciate.

Kentucky Rain is great too. In fact, almost all of the songs from the Memphis '69 session are great (esp. Wearin'That Loved On Look, I'll Hold You In My Heart and After Loving You)

I am not ashamed to admit that I love Elvis. The older and fatter the better. Wierd but not shamful.

I am ashamed to admit that I like some of Rod Stewart's stuff post faces.

Downtown Train, Do ya think I sexy, This ole heart (i think), and a few others.

What happened to him? He has one of the best all time rock voices but he has turned into a complete wuss. (American term referring to the possiblity he has no testerone left in his body.) You may not like the Stones new stuff (which I do) but Stewart went from a rocker to a crooner of middle aged fat women. He can still sing though.

Well, were he to start writing his own songs again, he'd possibly write really good ones again in three or four album's time, but unfortunately, he took to the not so great American songbook instead. Out Of Order was cool, Vagabond Heart too. Lead Vocalist was a bit of a rip-off with so much old material on it. Spanner In the Works had its moments, the blue one of which I don't rember the name from the late 90s had 2 or 3 good songs, and his last pre-American Songbook album Human was ruined by its RNB producers putting Rod in Barry White mode.

Andy Gibb? Have we no shame?

Actually I liked the theme from S.W.A.T. and as a kid bought a 45 of "Convoy."

I know, kill me now.

"Hung Up" by Madonna. I cant get it out of my mind, even though I dont usually like that kind of mood/rythm.

I dig the Monkees, too. And lots of other bubblegum (Tommy James and the Shondells, Raiders, etc.) and power pop (Cheap Trick, Starz, Big Star, Raspberries, Badfinger, etc.).

60's and 70's country - the new stuff sux!

Sinatra can't be beat.

Oh yeah, the sound of Keef and Charlie locking into a groove with a nasty Jagger vocal, oh, yeah!!!!

Great thread!

Let me think... guilty pleasures?

I don't know if this is really anything to feel guilty about, but I REALLY like some of Madonna’s early stuff, like Holiday, Like A Virgin, Crazy For You, Borderline and so on. I'm really digging her new tune at the moment too. What's it called? Hung Up? It's brilliant!

I like some of Whitney Houston’s early ones too. Such as I Want To Dance With Somebody.

I also secretly quite like a lot of Robbie Williams solo stuff, but then again, he's fairly credible. Isn’t he?

I just think Madonna's early work (and some later stuff too) is just great pop music. Yeah, it may not be "rock 'n roll" or very masculine, but it's melodic and some of it's quite brilliant in my opinion.

Well, I like Ringo's solo albums. Including Sentimental Journey. My favourite tracks on that album are Love Is a Many Splendoured Thing and Blue Turning Grey Over You.

I'll vote for C.W. McCall as my guilty pleasure too. I also love his song called "Crispy Critters." Funny stuff!
