If we (or I) know something it would or have been mailed to bv (for Zurich stadium slots ...). But mostly we do not know more than you. Many of our members do not speak english and are happy to get infos, also from IORR of course. But sometimes we get the same infos from the same sources. But for me the most important reason to be admin of Stonestreff is that every member gets the tickets she or he wishes. Helping each other is the reason number one.
And the mentioned posting on Treff was only a joke. Speculating for fun.

So we can expect 14 shows again. I wonder why they originally planned to do 8-10 shows last summer only. Then they got back to the 14-show model again and it seems like they are sticking to it. Originally this UK show was also just supposed to have 10-12 shows as I remember.

well, I'm not really shure that checking hotel rates is a good way to get rumors confirmed – since people react to rumors by booking hotels (like we do), then rates go up, more people believe that this indicates some kind of confirmation, more people book hotels, prices go up ect. Exactly. Like on earlier tours in Paris the hotels around Stade de France seemed to know there will be a show (maybe not of which band), rates higher than usual. Same with some hotels of a certain category. They do not have a presidential suite to book.., same with other suites in the house.
We were in Paris once (2007) faster, me and a friend could book the hotel before rates were getting high. But that was a mistake of rs.com. Their links for the tour were not on but where already there. Maybe some here on IORR can remember that. On location they tried to get a higher rate. No way! Harrr

I agree with what you say. There was a story 3 days ago in Walesonline stating there would be a show in Cardiff at the Principality stadium during early June. There was no new information or hard facts....in fact the whole article could have been written by anyone on this site. A classic example of rumour coming back round as hard news.

Schwonek, that exactly is the list referred to above as pure speculation.. Now , while there may be some truth as to the frequency of shows / off days, the poster admits that July 10th back in London is just wishful thinking on his part.
Do the math, that list's got 16 shows.

I think that if they play mainland Europe the stadium shows won't be in a row. That would mean they would need to have more than one stage set in mainland and that would mean additional cost. Then again maybe the cost is not so high and it's no big deal.
