It's being reported that Mick's new single will have a "special remix" made by a Brazilian DJ named Alok. According to the article, this "special remix" will be posted this week on Mick's YouTube account.

"England Lost" feels like an update of "Rain Fall Down," sonically speaking. I like the idea of cultural commentary smuggled into a soccer metaphor. Mick has something to say, but, as is his wont, chooses to wear it lightly.

Thanks mucho CR! Gotta Get a Grip and England Lost both have some social commentary. I heard the words "refugee" and "immigration" I cannot make out what ol Mick is saying but I heard these words. Of course Mick will straddle the fence on these issues...he always hedges and dodges. It's a way of life for him.

On MickJagger.com, the copy claims it is "the debut solo single by Mick Jagger." Apparently this is a different Mick Jagger from the guy who did all those other solo releases. As always, they could actually hire people who know something of the artist's history or are professional enough to ask someone who would know.
