I'm not sure how to rip the sound from the DVD's
into a playable format that could be put on CD.

To rip audio from DVD you'll need two programs
1 - DVD decrypter to remove copy-protection and rip DVD to your HD. I am not sure this program is available anymore as an open source code.
2 - DVD audio ripper to extract audio content in one form or another.
I had both programs somewhere but the old Win XP laptop crashed and took them to the other world with him.

After ripping all 3 Blurays I made my own compilation disc. It took over a month and burning around 15 CDs before I got the right transition between songs. Plus I included as much dialog as possible. Think I did okay in the end. Here's my setlist.
Not Fade Away - Paradiso
It's All Over Now - Paradiso
Tumbling Dice - Paris
Live With Me - Paradiso
Monkey Man - Brixton
Gimme Shelter - Paradiso
Meet Me In The Bottom - Paradiso
The Spider And The Fly - Paradiso
Connection - Paradiso
Slipping Away - Paradiso
Like A Rolling Stone - Brixton
I Go Wild - Paris
Rip This Joint - Paradiso
Jumpin' Jack Flash - Paris

I like Havana Moon, Hyde Park, Live Licks & Shine A Light better than TS. Best "golden-age-album"? L.A. Friday.
Don HMSotte fighting windmills...once again...
Hyde Park, Havana and SAL present real concerts, Totally Stripped is just a compilation of live-tracks. Live Licks is a compilation too but imo better than Totally Stripped, which to me is not very exciting. In fact I was rather bored when listening to it.

I would love a compilation of live tracks, especially if they didn't film the entire concert or it's a real rarity like She Smiled Sweetly.

Live You Live, Flashpoint, No Security and Live Licks are are compilations of live tracks from different shows.

And obviously all rather boring, not even exciting at all. You know, because SHINE A LIGHT isn't from a concert but is from 2 concerts.
You know, come to think of it, SWEET SUMMER SUN isn't from a concert but is from 2 shows.
Huh.
That just leaves HAVANA MOON. With overdubs.
How BORING.

Actually Hyde Park & SAL are both from one night, except for one or two songs, as far as I remember... I think they overdubbed Out Of Control on Havana Moon, but I´m not sure.
Havana Moon is great, the setlist maybe is boring - but the playing... the boys were on fire. Very enjoyable album.

Remember the hidden features on the original CD that you could access when playing it on a PC?

Actually for the cd to have any value it should have included something from an unreleased 1995 show or something unheard from the Tobisha sessions.
YEP!!!!
Or Still A Fool and Jump On Top Of Me from Amsterdam II... something along these lines..RAAAAAAARE, not common stuff like Miss You.

So is there extra content on the DVD/BR versions from Japan or only the additional CD songs on the bonus CD in Japan and then the exclusive Olympia set, too?

While I would love to see these performances, the bulk of purchasers don't know these songs.
They probably would give the title a pass.
Unfortunately, it's show BUSINESS. We don't have to like it, but that's the way it is.
