For me it is definitely their recorded albums, as I don't listen to the live albums very much and didn't get to see them live in their prime...

I also didn't get to see them live in their prime (1994 - 2003, in my opinion) but, as good as the live albums from this period are, they don't compete with the canon of studio work that the band has produced.
