On a somewhat related note, I don’t get the UK’s fascination with that cheesy Elvis record (The Wonder of You) with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
It only got to #47 in the United States and that is too high as far as I’m concerned.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I remember reading an article claiming that UK has the largest Elvis' fanbase worldwide.

Another fact: according to Universal, B&L accumulated scans of 507,000 units worldwide during the first week (Dec. 1-8), that's about 6% more than the report from Media Traffic (477,000), just like I said their numbers are 5-10% less than the real ones.
