Nice guy, and all that......................but didn't know about Exhibitionism ?

I wonder if this was a result of the marketing company that was looking for a male to fit a certain demographic. Seems that the scenario seemed slightly familiar as what I remember at the time. Possibly someone will remember where to find where it was being discussed here at IORR.

Im sure Alex is a big fan of the Stones but Im not sure how big?
If he was really a big fan, he would have known about the EXHIBITIONISM Show.
Seems like they made more of a "vanity" choice then real hardcore fan choice?
I prefer to work behind the camera anyway.

Yeah, I guess age, looks and appearance were the key factors. Maybe it were the girls on that PR agency that chose him? He has a bit of a Pierce Brosnan look going for him there.

Call me cynical but this could cast some doubt upon the Stones' integrity (British understatement).

Alex Emanuel might be a fan who won the competition fair and square and just happens to be an actor but I'm sure I'm not alone in saying my gut instinct tells me otherwise.

And we are also supposed to believe that the new album will be up to the quality of Exile...

I never believed it was something spontaneous. It is a well done clip

Guys, to play devil's advocate for a second, it doesn't mean all that much to have an IMDB page. Lots of people in New York call themselves actors. And maybe whoever selected the winner wanted someone who can string sentences together and not drool on himself.

Maybe it was rigged. But he plays guitar. He likes Emotional Rescue! Not so outrageous.
