Not to inflame or sound know-it-all, but go back and read my post where I said that the majority of tickets had already been sold in blocks to second-tier markets, and that Goldenvoice was really only going to sell tickets for 15 minutes, after that they were going to put up a "sold out" banner. The deal for this concert and the tickets had been done well in advance. You think AEG would take this kind of risk?

1/2 way W2, 1/3 way W1, hotel sounds better than RV camping for a week.

My friend just got in and GAs for Oct 7 sold out.

Reserved seating is already for sale on ebay.....

GA for the second weekend is sold out but GA with the shuttle was still available, so I got those. Pit is sold out. On the floor, only $999 was available - and those were in the back.

I should have titled this thread "Welcome to the machine (money)"....

Here's my odyssey through idiocy.

First, I waited in line almost an hour, to finally be allowed in. Clicked on the standing pit tickets, for the privilege of standing in the hot blazing sun for up to 6 hours waiting for the "opening act" to come on, only to be told "GFY"



Then I started clicking randomly. No such "find me the best tickets" link a-la ticketmaster. Click the good sections. Click the crap sections. Hey, it's a random game. Section 108. Hmmmm. Looks ok (yeah, maybe if there wasn't a pit in front of reserved seating. What would be considered great seats at a normal show, kind of suck here.




OK, two tickets in section 108. For these prices, each section should be called "section 8". Let's see, how much is that?
