Hate to say I totally missed this one tonight

Me too. Can anyone post a periscope link from someone who did most of the show. They do have a 24 view window. What time did the show end east coast time?

Nice pic! Is camera policy about the same as Zipcode tour?

Here's the link for Pancho, who did a lot of the show
[www.periscope.tv]

I'm not sure about exactly what time the show ended in East Coast Time. I think it ended at about 6:30 - 7:00 PM my time, so that would be like 9:30 -10:00 your time, I think. I'm not positive though, just my best guess. I wasn't really keeping track of the time

Thanks Stones2000.

Keith's voice sounded incredibly good. The best I've heard him sing in a long time. He needs to play with more passion like he does on "Happy" That song always brings out his metal side.

Ronnie's Butterscotch Blonde Telecaster I haven't seen him use in a long time. I think the last time was on either Bridges to Babylon tours of 1997 to 1999 or the 40 Licks tour. Can't remember.

Thank you for posting all of these incredible pics- and comments here made it fun!
Naturalust where were you?
Sasha was excellent- yes, GS sounded more like Merry, and Sasha was powerful, rich, definite enhance.
Funny enough, for the guy who has been quoted saying he needs 10 days to recover properly from jet lag,
Keith Richards was the one suffering none of it- his superb confidence led the band tonight- IMO, he was ON. All throughout.
Zipcode I followed Jagger in a love struck trance but tonight, it was Keith I kept talking about- I was a little worried about Charlie, my God it's a lot of hard physical work but as usual, I am continually struck by just how truly talented each individual. Mick on harp, 'Rambler' Setlist should shut us all up- they mixed it up, threw in gold gems like only they can draw from- when I read
'She's a Rainbow' was done at rehearsal, I *knew* we'd get it tonight, and played it over today in anticipation.

Much thanks DoomandGloom and 35love for the reviews and answers to my questions. Sounds like it was a great show! Keith playing bluesier more lead and less Berryesque sytle? I would have loved that.

Great pictures by everyone. Just wow actually. The cameras these days have come a long way.The band looks fantastic.

It looks like it was a good setlist for a change. She's A Rainbow would have been wonderful live.

crazy fun, scoping is what it is and the broadcasters are heroes but in this late date for the band and all that's available it's a missed opportunity to give the greatest fans in rock a pleasurable, simple experience and broadcast

It is silly that volunteers have to step up and do the heavy lifting and battery buying phone holding and buy a ticket. These scopers are heroes but there is no good reason why the band can not do a little something to make this work better.

It doesn't have to be an official effort, it could be done back door by quietly and cheaply funding some people to travel around to shows and get them in for free and sit them in left upper, right upper and straight away upper (upper because that is where the best signal is and the sound is fine up there).

Set the people up with good quality phones and extendo batteries and maybe a way to clamp the phone onto a rail or something. Then tell the people to act like they are just normal scoping fans aa they broadcast the show like everyone can.

It would cost a pittance (compared to other production costs) and would make watching shows a lot more fun than calling out for a MEDIC!! BATTERY DOWN!! NEW SCOPE STAT!!! as we scramble to find another scoper, as one battery after another dies.

All bands could/should do this, why wouldn't they? The technology is in place, it is just a matter of 2-4 people doing it every show. If they have a problem finding anyone who wants to do this, I would do it... but I would be happy to defer to Debbie or Pancho if they want to do it.

If they throw in travel expenses, it would be my dream job. smiling smiley

I think I've figured out a way to scope Havana. It'll be dicey since 3G is still a dream on the island, but it might work.

Nice first effort but she sounds a bit "raspy" to me no on the "shot away" parts, or is that the recording ? As for Keith, dunno, I guess it's nice to see him still up there packing some punch but he isn't playing any better than he when he was getting panned after the O2, right ? Flubbed intros, SFTD solo that's "off" 50% of the time, etc...if anything it's worse, which is not that surprising since that was 3+ years ago now. Can't say I share all the (understandable) excitement, in fact it feels like 2007 again to me, the "let's keep the show on the road" period, they need to inject some "new blood" into these shows, hopefully a new album will help with that at some point.
