Don't the Stones Know Better?

That means if someone says they don't like a song and would rather hear something else, they are a "whiner." How stupid. Nobody thinks they know better, but I would imagine that most have a song or two they don't like and don't want to hear. So, everyone is a whiner, just some whine louder and bigger than most.

Just to be clear, you are saying the guy that released "Let's Work" as his lead single off an album of similar classics is infallible and exercises good judgement all the time, and that we shouldn't question his/their judgement...football pants, jock strap and knee pads notwithstanding.

That's not what I am saying at all.

During yesterday's concert in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Jumping Jack Flash was played for the 1115:th time live according to Setlist.fm. And a modern warhorse like "You Got me Rocking Now" was played for the 439:th time.
Who knows, maybe they will throw in "Tell Me" next time in Montevideo, Uruguay? Then it would be for the 10:th time since April 2, 1965 in Stockholm (Kungliga Tennishallen).

Stop dreaming, this is the Stones of 2016: 18 song setlists, 14 warhores and 3-4 surprises each night (if we can call YGMR, Beast Of Burden or Angie as surprises)

I am in research and the rule in research is that all data needs to be peer reviewed. Folks too close to a subject cannot give an unbiased opinion. Of course, fans are hardly unbiased, but they do provide a critical eye and ear.
But after 1000hrs or whatever the rule is, one becomes an expert at a topic, so the Stones can claim expertise in say playing a song, but I don't know if they can ever claim to know what fans want/need to hear.
