I had the same exact reaction as you did where i always thought that it was Don Henley but it was Glenn Frey that made him look like a well behaved bandmate ,when i always thought it was Don Henley .Funny how life is like anyway bless Glenn Frey because he did give us some good music both with the Eagles and solo which i had the pleasure of catching both (Frey with Walsh at one show) then less than two years later hell froze over and concert ticket prices have not been that same since!Quote

Just want to chime in on this Eagles discussion.
"A lot of them take Don Felder's side, demonize Henley and Frey for terminating him, and call the History of the Eagles documentary as a hatchet job to take vengeance on Felder."
I didn't see The History of the Eagles as a hatchet job on Don Felder. I felt like I got to hear both parties in a divorce state their case. Felder got to air his complaints. If they wanted to make him look bad, they would have cut out a lot of what ended up in there. Shoot, they even ended it with him saying that he would like to smooth things over - he got to look like the forgiving guy. After watching it, I liked Felder more and Frey less. (Granted, this depends on what annoys you in a person, but I thought the documentary made Glenn look like a real tool.) So to me, it seemed pretty fair to Felder. (Side note: Don Felder's book was pretty cool. Had a nice Keith story too.)
There's no point in taking sides in this. Some people just don't like working with each other. It happens. Stones fans should be used to it.

Strange this thread popping up on the first Tell Me page today. Watched "Interview With The Vampire" movie last night (such a bad movie it's good, though, Tom Cruise is over the top) and at the end of the flick as the closing credits started to come on Sympathy For The Devil played. Turns out it was G'n'R' doing a cover version.

'Far Away Eyes' ?
I looked, thinking it's a joke/ they're singing it finale? Say what?
Now I see (I think, it's dark) recorded RS version played over speakers.

And yuo thought Axl was demented?
He's fronting the two greatest rock bands so if G'R dies after the current tour he can rely on AC/DC with a new album and a new tour.
Axl Rose : crazy like a fox!
