Stones From The Vault/Stones Archive Question
Posted by: JF ()
Date: February 16, 2017 13:10

Hi

Long time lurker around these parts, but thought I'd pull the trigger on a post...

When The Vault/Archive series came out a few years ago, I downloaded everything available from the store.

Since then, my PC failed, and lost what I'd downloaded.

Is there any way to restore those downloads?

The FLAC/MP3 shows I lost were:

Tokyo Dome 89
Light The Fuse 05
Hampton 81

I've since purchased LA Friday on CD/DVD and my copy of Brussels Affair and Roundhay Park are still on Google Play (odd).

In addition to this...is there anywhere I can download the audio (officially) of Some Girls Live In Texas without having the purchase the physical CD?

Thanks in advance!

Apart from a Backup - not official, since 'My Downloads' in the [StonesArchiveStore.com] says: 'Not Available' ....

Maybe it's stored in Google Play, since the MP3's were also available there.

As far as I know there was no Audio-Download-version of Some Girls Texas '78.

I've found the BluRay-Combo of Ladies&Gentlemen and Some Girls Texas '78 recently for just EUR 9.99 in my local Electronics chain store ....

Thanks Irix.

I've checked both Amazon and Google Play and can only find Brussels and Roundhay, which I definitely downloaded from Google Play.

Was there another means of downloading the shows from Stones Archive? I'm just wondering if I've forgotten about something, and my downloads are in fact sat waiting for me somewhere!

I have all the shows on DVD/BluRay, so I'm loathed to purchase them again just for the audio.

I've emailed Stones Archive to see if they can advise.

Thanks for you help.

In the [StonesArchiveStore.com] were 6 Audio-Downloads in 2011/2012 available:

The Brussels Affair

Hampton Coliseum (1981)

L.A. Friday

Live At The Tokyo Dome

Live At Leeds Roundhay Park 1982

A Bigger Bang In Toronto 2005

Login into the StonesArchiveStore: in 'My Downloads' there're your purchases listed, but unfortunately they cannot be downloaded anymore ('Not Available').

Rip the DVD/BluRay (RedFox, MakeMKV, DVDFab) and extract the Audio (e.g. easily with eac3to).
