As Beast mentioned in a previous post, they did not introduce other band members. Either Rod or Ronnie (can't recall which of the two) said 'we'll do that when we're on the road' ... or words to that effect.

Not wishing to read too much into that, but if you WERE to look for possible hidden meaning, one likely interpretation is that they may well be considering taking the show on the road. In which case ........ YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!

Anyway, if we never see them again together, short n' sweet as it was, it was pure joy. Soooooooooooooooo happy I bore witness to it !!

The Faces made some pretty good music. The only problem is, I dont like Rod´s voice. And I dont like what has become of him in the 80s. And I sure dont like his 27 albums of american songbook-standards and christmas songs.

Good on you all that could attend this rare gig. Sounds as though everyone had a wonderful time despite the mess getting out of there. The fact that the 3 original guys got it together was positive. One knows that spirits Mac and Laney were also very much in attendance on that that stage approving and also likely 'taking the piss'.

What a famously great band the Faces were.

Ronnie is using in-ear monitoring for the first time, I think. Looks like the standard earbuds that come with the systems!

Must be to accommodate lower stage noise levels for Rod.

Ronnie sure does look like he just loves what he does. I have a feeling he'd be happy playing every night if he could.

Rod...well...he looks like he's been playing the Songbook too long. Really, it's like a lounge act with him up there...juxtapose him with Ronnie...Ronnie is in the moment, feeling it...Rod looks like he's trying to sell me perfume off the street.

BTW, Rod is Hampden Park tonight, watching Scotland vs Germany.

Yeah, I just saw him cheer when Scotland scored

Ronnie made the 'when we go on tour' remark and followed it with 'oops'. Rod couldn't wait to get off the stage once they'd come back for a bow. I'll be very surprised if they do anything more than the odd one off like this. A shame, but if Rod was that bothered surely he'd have made it happen years ago.
