I certainly find some of the IORR regulars a bit aloof and self-obsessed, a bit egotistical.

Well my wife is from England, so I suppose some of the misery is rubbing off on me.lol
And I lived in Guildford for half a year, so I always carry a bit of that misery with me wherever I go for the rest of my life.

I'll take record breaking heat in Hawaii over just about anywhere else, probably less than 90 degF, no? A big tougher on the leeward than the windward but with good surf I doubt I'd have even noticed. Smelling the plumeria just thinking about it.

Strange to have truly large surf this time of year over there, usually the winter storms bring the big waves, I guess there must have been some typhoons or hurricanes close by.
