..maybe there will be some changes from the Uk exhibition...???
if the opening date is november 12th, the opening party for celebs and VIPs will be the evening before....aka a chance to get an autograph if it is anything like London was!Quote

The opening day is Nov 12th. Did anybody receive their VIP passes yet? I had mine sent to me in the mail.

Just looked at the ticket site and there are tickets available for the opening and all other dates except for Nov. 15. Nov. 15 is sold out. What is happening that day?
Looking forward to seeing this in NYC!

When is the opening celebration?

I'm confused, is the big opening with the Stones there the 15th and that's why it's sold out that day? Why would it be 3 days after the public opening day? Wouldn't they be at an opening on the 12th since it's not the 11th? Confusing.

I know, I was just confused as to why the 15th might (??) be the press day, when it's 3 days after the opening. In London it was the night before the opening, that's why it was confusing to me. I would have thought the opening celebration would be the 12th, if it wasn't the 11th.
Edited to add, you can buy tickets still for the 12th, even the last entry time of 7:30 pm

I would trust Matt Lee's hints on this one. Bit odd but maybe it didn't work with the band members' schedules otherwise.

Strong advise:
Don't go there on the opening day, or you will be crushed. No fun!!!
In London we spent at least half an hour for the first 20 meters inside.
Wait a few days or better a few weeks and you'll feel nice and comfy inside with easy access to all the things displayed.
Yup I was there too and the girl next to me even got a selfie with keef, which I would not have thought possible from him (even if she was gorgeous and Italian) so definitely get there early and brin a record!Quote

If it's anything like the London opening and the stones turn up for a private view party, it's worth waiting outside - I got a few memorable words from KR ( along the lines of " I like your hat " and several people got rare autographs from all four at the London one .
