For my only show in Texas I'm picking Satisfaction as it will be 50 years to the day it was released.

If it's a SF themed tour, it's got to be Brown Sugar.I just hope Keith has practised the opening chords !

Don't want another Scarf Me Up .

Mick and Keith doing an acoustic WH by themselves would be cool way to start the shows.

You wanna start a rock'n roll gig with a rocking tune. The band started their show with a slow song ("Not fade Away") and they never did it again.

Except for the whole worldwide tour.

Don't forget Prodigal Son in 1979. I bet the people who were there appreciated that!

Even you know the probability of that. Zero. I would love even a small acoustic set but since it's stadiums, I'm pretty sure they won't risk it. It will be the same as the last many outings, one of the following:

Brown Sugar
Jumping Jack Flash
Start Me Up

Always amazed that the "been there done that" Jagger is so willing to do it again so often. Hoping for but not expecting some surprises this time out.

peace

I'm expecting some surprises only because there usually are and the rehearsals
are apparently not able to be heard.

You´re right, of course.

But I can´t help thinking of Springsteen who sometimes (in stadiums) just came out and did four acoustic numbers by himself to a more than raving audience.

It won´t happen.

Wow, thanks for that DP, Mick's vocals are a glorious mess here. I would love to hear them do something like this. smiling smiley

Im pretty sure with the loose theme being the Sticky Fingers re release then they will open with Brown Sugar same as the album and yeah i think they should always start each show with a rocker.

Sympathy is one of the few big hits they've never opened with, but since it's a Sticky Fingers tour, I'm saying Brown Sugar.

Good guess, but from what I have heard they try to do something fresh this time (being a new chapter, Taylor-less and so on...): Back To Zero (intro music), Sweethearts Together (opening song), Don't Be A Stranger (2nd song), Sparks Will Fly or You Got Me Rocking (3rd, alternating from show to show), Suck On The Jugular unfortunately only 4th song in the setlist only.

Then it's either Sticky Fingers or Their Satanic Majesties Request in their entirety, depending on the mood.

It's the Satanic Voodoo Fingers tour actually, ZIP CODE is only a working title.

If it must be a rocker why not open with When The Whip Comes Down. Can't get better than that thumbs up

The only one that makes sense is Brown Sugar, given the theme of the tour. Maybe Bitch?

Bitch would be a very welcome kickoff!

I'm going with Brown Sugar as well. It's the long-delayed STICKY FINGERS American tour after all...

Going with Brown Sugar as well - unless they chose to plop it in with
A SF set latter in the show.
