This could be one of the very few times they didn't pick the best version for the record! Although my opinion is probably tempered by the fact I've heard the original so many times before and this one is fresh and interesting.

That's what's amazing: that it sounds so hot and fresh and interesting and ...even current Hell yeah!!

Absolutely awesome! I love the original Bitch, but this one is even better. This band is, well, the world's greatest rock-n-roll band ever!

Great Hot Rocking version. !!!

Well, it received the ordinary "viagra" treatment ...
Just wait a couple of weeks and everybody will complain that it sounds brickwalled etc.

not bad, but to me it sounds rather like a working version…
I wonder how many people will prefer this version to in original version – with two years distance…?

I don't know why so many of you compare this one to the official released version, and why this one is, or is not, better then that one. That version is the final version and should be.
This is a working version, in development, but on its own it is a great outtake. Very glad this is released. I don't compare this early take to the finished product, in a way if this is better or not. It is a great look in the kitchen, and I hope to see more.

I'm pretty sure I'll always dig the ridiculously swinging last half of this take

Yeah sure! But the first half surprised me probably more.

If this alternate version was the first release, and the original the alternate, you could ask the same. It's all about "brainwashing" yourself.

"Taylor can't play rhythm."...yeah, right.

Great version, very groovy!!
Can someone telling who plays the solo?
Because somehow it sounds like Keef for me, but it's on the left/Taylor-side.
Mick Taylor?
Wait.. So keef is on The left and mick plays The rhythm guitar on the right side?Quote

It's Keith, just like on the album version. They even kept some of the licks from this version on SF.

Whichever is left and right, it's definitely Keith on Chuck Berry-influenced lead and Mick T on rhythm guitar.

I wonder if MT wrote the Riff. Keith has never claimed he wrote the riff all these years. He said I believe he came by after his lunch and the band was playing Bitch and they sounded awful and he joined in and bang - magic.
