Yes, we're spending the summer near Bala in Muskoka. Beautiful and serene. BUT, no one should need to look out for #1 ALONE since this is BV's site and one would think/hope he'd be looking out for and helping the fans find gigs. His followers are numerous. How many times has he been asked:'BV tell us this and that'? No need to rely on me! As someone said recently - BV is the god of this site. And it's obvious because how many times have we read:'Thank you BV for......."?

Did you know Bala means "outlet of a lake" in Welsh, I guess there's a few Jones, Evans, Davies & Williams's up there..........

I thought Bala meant "covered in snow for 9 months"...

I used to know him. Shot him performing dozens of times.

He now does the afternoon show on Toronto's Q107 (2pm - 6pm). I love his "Damn, I wish I wrote that" part of the show.

..and to kill time and keep everyone in the payroll before going back to Europe where tax issues had "forced" them to cancel the 1998 UK Dates. They had planned to release TY part II (Memory Hotel) too but that apparently got killed due to the poor sales of NS, besides the tour had sold well so there was no need to bother with "new" stuff.

Still NS was great to be able to experience the Stones in arenas for many fans, seemed too good to be true at the time...

It's the ultimate battle between good and meh..

I Can't Turn You Loose was one of the many highlights on the Licks-tour. Fabulous version. I would really love to hear it on this upcoming tour but I somehow doubt it will sound as energetic as it did in 2003?...
