Agreed one of the best songs of the latter era of the band or any era. Great acoustic work from KR here.

That's a good one.

I like this song a lot - and do agree that it is underrated.

At the same time, I prefer "Slipping Away" and would have to rank it as the best Stones song of the past 25 years.

The version on Stripped is also fantastic.

A great song with ace playing from Keith - unfortunately without (most of) their fans' approval!

Spider and the fly ( stripped version) I'd love to see if they can still do it

"Tie You Up" is a great candidate as "most underrated (Stones) song".
Other are: "Ain't No Use For Crying" or "Anyway You Look At It" or "I Am Waiting".

I like all those songs. I Am Waiting, in particular, is genius.

I've always thought "Parachute Woman" was a neglected gem.

Sweet Gene Vincent.......Ian Dury & the Blockheads........a live version, Hammersmith 1985...





Having said that, when Bob Dylan met Ian for the first time, he just pointed at him and said "Sweet Gene Vincent"......so maybe not underrated by everyone......

Of the very early years: It's All Over Now (bring it back on stage already!)
Of the Big4 period: No Expectations (supposedly not underrated in fan circles, but criminally underused live)
Of the latter years: indeed, Tie You Up should get the nod, with Break The Spell being close 2nd.

I haven't received the latest ratings, so I am not up on what's underrated, overrated, or prorated.

As far as the Stones go, I can't think of a more underrated one either............fantastic song from a fantastic album, although Too much blood is probably a more unjustly slagged off song, love that one too

FOLLOWING THE RIVER (as good as the masterpiece Let it loose !) Two such masterpieces on the same album, really incredible !
