I was a wee be bit dissapointed as I already paid for a download on RS Archive.to find out the cd's from the upcoming release would not be from the 12th as advertised on DVD. but from the 13th the same as I already have. but I should have known better there was no way Bob Clearmountain was gonna be paid to tweak the knobs on another show a day earlier that would have been to much to ask.

Well, the soundtrack of the DVD is from July 11 and I'm sure Clearmountain tweaked the knobs on this one.

Is this correct?

The new DVD:
is visual is from July 11 (same concert that we have had on video for a long time but now cleaned up with a different edit, so different camera angles)

The new DVD's audio:
is the actual audio from July 11 and cleaned up by Clearmountain.

The new cd (with dvd and what ever package):
is audio from LA Friday (google download) July 13

So very soon we'll have two (!) 1975 shows with a professional sound mix by Clearmountain.

I think the CD and the Album are the soundtrack from the DVD, which is the 11th. Much like the live in Texas...so yes we get two, the download, and then a different show from the DVD.

I'm curious what Clearm. made with the 11th tapes.The old VGP boot LA Connection was mostly terrible. One of those you only go to one time . .

Is there really a format available in Europe that contains the soundtrack of the dvd (not the known vaults-Download) on cd? Thanks!

Wonder why no Blu Ray? Everything is released in Blu Ray now. Could it be they don't have as good an audio source for the Forum show as they did for Hampton?

I just noticed that only 5 songs appear on both Hampton and LA. Now that is a change in only 6 years.

And 14 of the 25 tracks performed at the Hampton show were released within 3 years prior to the performance (or new cover songs). Compared to this upcoming tour where they have only released a TOTAL of 2 new songs within the the 3 year time frame!

Pretty decent...too bad the exchange rate is horrific!

i just checked bestbuy.com and they have both hampton 1981 and L.A. Friday listed for release in november .made me eyes sparkle seeing that , can't wait !!!

Yeah if you've seen the official announcements there is a finite amount of options for this, the 3LPs + DVD, the 2CDs + DVD and just the DVD. I don't even think there is a blu ray option like for Hampton.
