Yesterday Dylan played one of the strangest setlist in recent years
1.My Babe (Little Walter)
2.Beyond Here Lies Nothin'
3.Simple Twist of Fate
4.Little Queenie (Chuck Berry)
5.Mr. Blue (DeWayne Blackwell)
6.Pay in Blood
7.Cold, Cold Heart (Hank Williams)
8.Early Roman Kings
9.Under the Red Sky
10.Things Have Changed
11.The Fool (Naomi Ford and Lee Hazlewood)
12.Scarlet Town
13.Long and Wasted Years
seems to me like he did some songs Willie Nelson (who was ill and could do his set) would have done…

Bob, some suggestions after Outlaws concert in NJ:
Play a little closer to the front of stage.
Allow close up cameras for the big video screen instead of just one wide shot.
Attend the sound check.

A new album would be very welcome (as always).
Anyone know if he spent time in a recording studio in the past two or three years?

I went to ‘the Outlaw’ festival last night in Mansfield MA. Terrific fun night. Plant and Ms. Krauss hit the stage at 6:30. Really good set.
I’ve seen Bob close to 30x over the years, and this was truly one of the better shows I’ve seen by him in many years. Rollicking barrel house piano, including a version of Little Queenie that got everyone’s Ya Ya’s out.
Sadly, no Willie but they say he will join the tour in Camden NY on the 4th tomorrow. Place will erupt - guaranteed. Mavis Staples also joining - will be a great one.

ChrisL - I must admit I left about 3 songs into the set by Lukas and Co. to beat the atrocious traffic that is Great Woods. They did sound terrific- but they ain’t Willie. :-)
Did they bring out any guest stars later?
