Yup, he's fantastic throughout this footage. How can anyone stay seated while watching him on Carol? God, my feet were half way in the air as soon as he struck those first chords. Will do you a nice seleciones of early footage on DVD next time we meet up my good man.

Half their set was mimed, including Tell Me--which never seems to have been given a truly live treatment, as there exists no such recording, but they did a live version of Oh, Carol to start off. Try the following link. It will take you to a page where the video will just start playing automatically without having to click on it, so you should get past the copyright issues. The clip lasts 8:55. Really, Mike Dogless copyright banned in Germany? What on earth for?

50 years ago the Stones played the Mike Douglas Show for US TV. Here are the 4 songs and interview they did. And check out the hysterical girls getting to meet their idols half way through. Fabulous stuff.
