But but... let's go to the beginning... "Mona", "I'm A King Bee", "It's All Over Now", "Confessin' The Blues"..... the 'boy' nailed it.. There was that natural, innocent charm with that boyish spark in those early r&b recordings, which make them unique sounding and ever-lasting performances... And still already then, despite copying his idols, he sounded original, that is, nothing but Mick Jagger.. But damn, just listen how powerful his vocals in "Mona" are! And what a matured blues voice this 20 years old kid has in "Confessin' The Blues"!
