Gram Parsons - Sleepless Nights and Rolling Stones - Through The Lonely Nights similarity

Was just listening to Gram Parsons/The Flying Burrito Brothers' great cover of The Everly Brothers' 1960 song Sleepless Nights and it struck me that the Stones might have been inspired by it to write Through The Lonely Nights, the b-side to It's Only Rock'n'Roll.
Anyone know any more?
