Posted by: sister ()
Date: April 2, 2014 18:09

Dear fellows,
if someone is able to score tickets tomorrow for Berlin and has a spare one, I would really love to buy it.
Don't know if it works for me tomorrow myself, have to work at 10h.
Best regards,
sister

For all the $85 tix I bought for the US shows I ended up with shitty tix in the rafters, and that was the gamble I took.

But....

That didn't stop me from self-upgrading at all of them.
For one of them, I made it to the outside barrier of the pit.

I know several people who got in the pit with their $85's, so it did happen occasionally.

And for several shows they had massive ticket drops days before the show, dumping many of the overpriced tix at a very reasonable price.

It was that easy to self-upgrade your ticket? Please tell me more about your experience winking smiley

Maneuvering stealthlike with confidence and years of experience. thumbs up

Just noticed they got the Madrid link open on rs.com but say try again later,so there is still hope.

I wanted standing GA for Madrid and I still hope by June 25th I will have one or two in my hand.

The Madrid ticket fiasco is the worst I have experienced but I know there has been the same in the past.

That's life I guess.

Came as a pleasant surprise the 65 euros tix available. >grinning smiley<

Same here, John.
My precious 'Monkey Woman' will mosty probably NÓT be able to join me, due to job restrictions;
and besides her, I only got one (my regular) 'Stones mate' in mind; but there's a fair chance he won't be able to join me either at this relatively short notice.
And off course, I have to score tickets first. smiling bouncing smiley
But when all of this tuns out to be the case: you're on!

ok, RoughJusticeOnYa, lets do it!

I just bought a Lucky Dip for Madrid and it seems to me that it's only one ticket (not a pair). Is that possible??

Or it's 65EUR for 2 tickets? I'm a bit confused.

Yes, it was 65 EUR, not 130EUR. And the bill shows in the quantity section: 1 confused smiley

Hey!
I'm thinking of of getting these Lucky Dip tickets, but there are some things I'm not quite sure of, so I'm hoping some of you might be able to help:
First of all I do not own a credit card, I'm only 17 I'm not even able to have one at my age. I have asked my father to buy those tickets for me, is there any chance it will work out? I mean, he's ready to come over the concert place at the night of the concert, and pick the tickets up for me and my sister.
Another thing is - I'm planning to go to the concert with a friend of mine. She is going to go as the guest of her father, therefore she doesn't have to deal with the same problem as I. But we do wish to enjoy our first and perhaps also last concert of the stones together. The original plan was to get the cheapest tickets, we can't afford any other ones - so this lucky dip thing sounds like a great opportunity for us. If we win tickets to different areas, will we be able to all go and enjoy the concert in the cheapest areas?

Thanks a lot, really!

It's from the Madrid LD confirmation e-mail, the ticket is technically transferable, if you get a better ticket:

If someone different from the holder of the card used for payment is going to pick up the tickets, the following documents will be mandatory: the purchase reference number, a copy of the ID or passport of the purchaser, a copy of the card used for payment and a letter of authorization signed by the holder of the card.

I have the same problem. I don't own a credit card and already have "a nice person" I want to take with me, who doesn't have one either. So one spare lucky dip ticket (for Waldbühne in Berlin) would not help me. Nor would we be able to get a credit card until tomorrow, I suppose. And I'm not the kind of person, who in a rush decides something spontaneously in a financial matter anyway.

Thanks for the Kalixa hint, Irix, I looked it up on their website but only found a "Kalixa Pay Prepaid MasterCard®". Is this accepted like a normal credit card everywhere (I absolutely don't feel comfortable with all this financial stuff, so excuse my dumb question)? I like, that there is no monthly or annual fee.

I am so pissed off with it all.

Got home this evening after no luck for Madrid all day.

Found out 65 euro tix may be available and filled in details 3 times cos 2 tix too many, then 1 tix not enough and then ,even after putting in card details each time, still no good and then to top it all.........................sold out.

Pissed off is not the way I feel.................,much worse. sad smiley

How is the payment for the LD tickets?
By Credit Card or Ideal Banking?
Or both?

Yes, it's a normal MasterCard, the card itself looks like in the picture and has everything what a credit card needs. The difference is that this card is prepaid and the conditions are those from Kalixa Pay, see the FAQs on [www.kalixa.com] .
