Zurich?

Wow. Good one. Do enjoy it. I met 2 more Brits on the Ryannair flight back to Stansted at noon the next day. Both were in GC and I think both were IORRians. If that was you please say hello. Both had multiple shows planned and both were IORRians. One seemed very young to be a Stones fan!

In Oslo they opened the Lucky Dip window exactly at 5 as it was supposed to be. Checking carefully the confirmation number, credit card and id.

Hi Adams!

Cheerz for that -
you mean they opened the ticket window for LD tic holders at (exactly) 5pm, correct?

So that was approx. 4 hours before Rolling Stones showtime, yes?

How long did it stay open? Any idea? (Anybody?!)
Was it only open for 1 (or 2) hour(-s)? Or didn't the window have a curfew...?

bump -

How was the experience for LD-ticket holders in Lisboa yesterday?

All feedback useful & appreciated...

Hi guys,

I got word from madame Giese at DEAG (concert promoters) about the pick up for the 'Lucky dip'-tix at Waldbühne (Berlin)/.

Here's what she said: ...

"the exact time to pick up the lucky dip’s is 5pm at the Box Office in front of the entrance to the Waldbühne. The Box Office is open from 5 to 7 pm to pick up the lucky dips.
Address: glockenturmplatz, 14052 Berlin
The nearest S-Bahn-Station is S-Bahnhof Pichelsberg.
"

Had lucky dip for Zurich. They didn't handle them out before they let the crowd into the stadium. Most people who got there early got the most expensive seats in block 6, originally more than 6 times more expensive than our lucky dip tickets. I think that section didn't sell out. Some got front of stage tickets. I don't know what people got who where there later.

In Tel Aviv people got an SMS being asked to pick the LD tickets at least 2 days before the show.
Every ticket has printed a gate number
Then the SMS says that LD ticket holders will approach the indicated gate and then they will be assigned the seats/GA

My little story of LD in Zurich.
Got to stadium and not even a bite really before show.
Everyone seemed to have tickets.
Knew I would either give it away or sell for CHF 60 which I did.
Eventually found out location for pickup for LD and already realised that holding a bit of paper that was confirmation etc gets the scalpers around you.
German speaking guy asked if I had ticket for sale and assumed he was going in with me, and he paid face value which was only CHF 60.
Only 2 in line in front and he spoke to another guy and then disappeared.
Other guy I realised straight away had bought ticket that he hadn't even got, from him and paid CHF 100.
I was more annoyed than him, that a scalper had just made a nice profit without even having a ticket to sell.

He was very happy to have paid CHF 100 for a great seat that should have been CHF 380.
That price was vastly overpriced in my opinion.
He really had a great time, and 20 years since he last seen them. >grinning smiley<

Hi Crawdaddy,

You're the unofficial Lucky Dip correspondent for this tour. 2 out of 2. Shame that a tout made 40CHF out of it though - cheeky bleep! Are you LDing anywhere else?

Lucky Dip in Paris Print Tickets
Posted by: Stoneswolf ()

I am going to print my two Stade De France Lucky Dip Tickets.
billets.stadefrance.com asks me to enter first and last name for the tickets before printing them. Should I enter for both tickets my name (the person who ordered the tickets)´or should the second ticket have the name of the person that is coming with me to the concert?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Gregor,
If I feel lucky and haven't got a golden circle,GA or good seat I will go for Lucky Dip at my only other gig in Madrid.
From going to Oslo and Zurich show I have seen there are always tix available from genuine sellers and scalpers on day of show at the venue.

I've got used to having good seats now and not having to try to get as near as possible for a good view. You obviously get the atmosphere and great vibes of being close up standing ,but as I get older,a decent seat ,I'm very happy with. >grinning smiley<

Well I'm on my way to Paris, ticketless so one option is to hang around the lucky dip queue and piggy back off someone with a spare...

Now on a coach from Oxford to London then catching another from there to Paris..

we got section F for Berlin, instead around 200 eur per tix, only 65.-, can`t complain.and instead waiting in the hot sun, the waiting line for lucky dips was in the shadow.

Question: Does it matter when we get in line for the lucky dip tickets? Is it better to be there first or last or what? What is you experience?

There were about 10-20 people in the LD line at Oslo when I got to Telenor about 4pm and not due to open till 5 or 6pm I think.

I didn't bother getting in line at Oslo or Zurich till 7 to 7.30pm and only a few people in front.
Still got good seats and someone else I know got GC in Oslo about that time as well.

Doesn't make a bit of differance ,in my opinion. thumbs up

Can't help myself but if you're on twitter or facebook maybe try posting on the RS pages for info? (I don't use either but maybe it will get some answers).

Does anyone still have the direct link to Madrid Lucky Dip ?
The one that takes you direct to ticketmaster.es and you can buy one or two tickets.

Not the one that takes you to rs.com and all the venues.

You never know, they may come back up again. smileys with beer

I know the person who got the last envelope in Olso and it was Golden Circle.
The guys just in front of me in Vienna got Golden Circle however the lady seemed to have picked mine from the very side of the pile.

My luck so far:
- Standing in Oslo
- Seating in Zurich but the most expensive ticket in the house
- Upper Seating in Vienna slightly restricted view

All shows were good and like a friend mentined in Oslo: any ticket is better than not ticket smiling smiley

I make daily videos on the tour at [youtube.com]
Going to: London - Manchester - Twickenham - Berlin - Marseille - Prague - Warsaw

+1
it was the 369chf ticket VIP section. The envelope handed over right before mine got restricted view seats, the owner was very happy with the show anyway.

Is there a latest time to pick up the LD tickets? I read that some of you picked up tickets right before the show started. We have to hand over our kid to the babysitter and then take off.
