Would be great if you could pick up LD tix anytime on the day of the gig,

Don't think it's gonna happen though.
Will probably have to get in line to pick up tix a couple of hours before showtime, and then escorted into arena/stadium with wristbands on.

I know the links are still on this thread for LD tix at Oslo ,Stockholm and Zurich.

Does anyone still have the Madrid LD link saved at all, that they can post on here ?

May try it now and again 'cos no tix appearing on the TM and DoctorMusic sites.

There are still LD tickets available for Oslo. However, might never sell out since it says sold out on Rollingstones.com and you cannot find the link on Bilettservice.no. It would be (not so) fun if this in fact is an error. The tickets are supposed to be sold out and by mistake they are currently selling tickets that do not exist.

It says sold out on all gigs apart from festivals and Tel Aviv on rs.com.

Tix can come up at any time without rs.com saying they are available.

I got shortcut to gigs I wanna see on my desktop.

I just check them out now and again, specially Madrid cos I desperately want a standing or good seat for that show. smiling smiley

Don't think anybody knows cos I guess it depends on how many seats are sold by show day.

This thread is about sharing Lucky Dip ticket experiences from the European leg of the 14 On Fire tour.

Tips and advices
Complaining possible or not
Self-upgrading possible or not
Handling by Stones crew or promoter's staff

Think that a lot of us would welcome such infos!

Got 2 Lucky Dip tickets for Oslo and 3 people had backed out after saying they wanted one.
Yesterday the line at Oslo was never really more than 50 metres and still had a spare about 6 pm when letting fans into arena.
Saw a girl with ticket wanted sign and she wanted the ticket, so she joined line with me.

Her husband also wanted a ticket, but he was still looking.
A few scalpers were around but he also managed to find someone with spare LD.

I had 2 tix for Block E which was a great seating area and her husband had LD for Golden Circle and they could see and wave to each other.
A very lucky couple, and very nice people.
That's my little story of LD in Oslo. >grinning smiley<

Hi got lucky dip tickets through ticketmaster (Rolling Stones.com) that say price category 1 was everyone's the same? Also does anyone know if you pick up from booking office at Waldbuhne? Cheers

...I think my confirmation said "price category 0 "... (not sure; have to check.)

About the pick-up: yeah, I'd like to know more about that too.
Especially concerning the exact time frame for it -
It sounds somehow like you only get limited access to the ticket booth for these Lucky Dip tics...?!

I hear you regarding limited pick up time...I'm sure I recall reading possibly on the Stones official site that tickets could only be collected an hour or so before the show???

...Yeah; something like that.
Maybe we better get this topic over to the "Lucky Dip"-thread...
By now, and within some days even more, there's a growing amount of people with 'first-hand experience' in this thing.

Hi, y'all!

...This is from the "BERLIN"-thread;
bumping the question - especially to all the people that were in line for the LD's in Oslo, and tomorrow in Lisboa (and off course, continuing along the tour until everybody knows exactly how this thing works out... smoking smiley ):...

- How about that pick-up? Is it really (strictly) limited to 'one hour' - and is that one hour before the doors open, or before the show starts?

- No way whatsoever you can get a hold of your LD's earlier/ elsewhere?

Thanx for all your input!
Cheerz...

In Oslo they opened the Lucky Dip window exactly at 5 as it was supposed to be. Checking carefully the confirmation number, credit card and id.

Lucky Dip Tickets : A Strange report
Posted by: CaptainCorella ()
Date: May 29, 2014 00:51

There are accounts of seating places for Lucky Dip tickets actually being "released" before the show date.

[forums.whirlpool.net.au]

I find this really odd. Is it a misunderstanding by the (grumpy) poster, an artefact from the postponed show(s), a snafu, or something else?

Anyone seen anything like this before?

Hi Crawdaddy,

I'm glad it all worked out well for you in the end. I'm the Scot you met several times over the weekend and last I knew, you were struggling to shift your spare LD around 5.30ish. I appeared on the Stones' Instagram Account, along with at least 2 other IORRians - Dandelion Powderman & LatvianinExile also appear below.

[instagram.com]#

I paid full price for GA, but myself and DP achieved our aim of reaching the Podium at the end of the B Stage and I got some great close-up shots when Mick headed our way. I had hoped that they'd fill spare capacity in GC with early GA arrivals, but your story appears to indicate they went to LD-ers.

All the best,

Gregor

Hi Adams!

Cheerz for that -
you mean they opened the ticket window for LD tic holders at (exactly) 5pm, correct?

So that was approx. 4 hours before Rolling Stones showtime, yes?

How long did it stay open? Any idea? (Anybody?!)
Was it only open for 1 (or 2) hour(-s)? Or didn't the window have a curfew...?

Great to meet you Gregor, and we had a few interesting conversations over last weekend.
Yes. All ended well with my spare LD ticket, and our seats just couldn't be better.
The Swedish girl Natalie and her husband who got the LD. Golden Circle were a lovely couple.
Also the English couple about my age sitting next to us were also next to us in the line for LD.
It does seem a bit unfair that fans like you and DP did not get GC when at front of queue.
Off to Zurich early Saturday morning and also got spare LD for that one.
Much bigger stadium but hoping my luck will hold out for that one.
Enjoy your next gigs on this great Stones tour. >grinning smiley<
