Bad sign when a promoter in Holland, of all places, wont touch a Stones show in that country because the ticket prices he'll have to charge to break even make it too much of a risk.

They should at least promise that Taylor will play the whole show. That would make the difference, because that guy is just famous here for being an excellent ex-Rolling Stone, seemingly different from a lot of other countries where they don't even know his name.

Think we could get 2 or 3 surprises i.e. more cities to be added to the schedule.
Remember, they do 15 shows thumbs up

It will be interesting to see which city they'll choose to finish the European leg.

Don't have to be a special one. Bet they plan a run of shows (12 - 17) in November/December for a little US-Tour and will visit South America.

Dunno, I can just guess that maybe there will be one more show in the northern countries and somewhere east but I'm not an oracle grinning smiley

Are the current shows in Asia selling well? Maybe theses numbers are telling the promoters something different that us dedicated fans would like.

Not trying to be all Doom and Gloom about it but maybe it is what it is.

No Ziggo Dome????????? :-(

I don't like Pinkpop very much... but
maybe this will be the first time in 15 years I'll be at Pinkpop.

It would be really sad if they not play at Ziggo Dome. I will go to Pinkpop, Hamburg and Cologne - but I hoped to have a show at the Ziggo Dome too.

I am sad if there is no Ziggodome. I
Was going to introduce my Dutch
friends to the band. They were going
to let me stay at their place.

Maybe something will change in
The Stones plans?

I'm really looking forward to see their ticket price policy. I guess they play most shows in Germany since Germany is doing quite well during the economic crises - Germans will able to afford the tickets.
I wonder what the ticket prices elsewhere will look like. I can't imagine they'll be able to sell too many tickets for 200+ Euros in less well-off countries like Spain for example.

Cheese!
A lot of my fellow countrymen like normal prices no utopian prices.
I have been in Abu Dhabi.I was in the front row area. The stage was so high!!!
I will never pay a second time so high price for such a bad view to see the band.
I cannot advise to pay so high ticket prices like in Abu Dhabi for such a bad view!!!

Bad view? From Dubai to Abu Dhabi is not easy to have a nice view of the stage. Even with clear sky..

on Twitter this morning CET there is no hint about an upcoming announcement. I still hope for some Arena shows end of May/June or if they start late then end of July. Otherwise I have to give up plans to see them again in Europe

Hi guys!!!
Concerning the cities and the dates, I'm pretty sure that everything is closed at present. After confidentiality contract signed document, local promoters are just waiting that the rolling stones officialy announce the tour. I can't imagine signing contracts 24 hours before the tour starts.

When "El mundo" publish last saturday the Madrid concert on 25th June, inmediately Doctor Music announced that nothing is confirmed yet.

My personal opinion refers to the private DB party in Salo Oval, Barcelona 2007. The show took place on 12th July and I knew at the end of February that there was something that day, nothing about the final customer, nothing about the band, but something was cooking.
At that time I was working in a cathering and in Mobile World Congress February 2007, one of our international costumers request that venue for that day and on 23rd April they visit Barcelona and arrange which cathering would be in charge to carry on. (Unfortunately we were not chosen as some years before, when Kylie Minogue played for the same DB.)

And Ziggodome is right, an average price of €200,- or more for a seated ticket is bollocks.
That means €300 first ring near the stage, or more. Doubt if that would sell easy.
A pitty, it means I won't go to a stonesshow, but completely understandable.

That would have been a bargain compared to the O2 and US prices! I can see references to €300 and €500, which sounds more like what they charged in 2012 and likely would be needed to give them the money they demand. It's getting a bit obscene frankly...

Yesterday evening on the radio RTL2, Zegut gave details: he got this news from 2 different reliable sources, so he thinks this time it's OK for the 13 June.
