If this group is really a force in your life, I urge you to see them at least once from the Pit no matter how you do it. It's like they have dropped an arean stage in, but you are seeing it at an intimate club show.

Macau will be the first ever time I have seen the Stones from the pit. I wanted to do it before it's all over. Your words have excited me so much! THANK YOU smiling smiley

The pit is a great place to be, because you are close to the band, you can still move around if you like, you have security, there is a limit of how many people they allow in there, and the crazy people who walk in with offensice power (they are everywhere including Hyde Park) are not there to bother you.

May be the pit with this 2014 stage is different from the tongue pit, but the concept is the same.

Hello,

Any news about the rumoured show in Singapore?
What are the chances for this show?
How trustfull are the rumours?

Maybe I will be working for 2 or 3 weeks in that period in Singapore.
would be nice if that would match with a Stones show over there..... ;-)

Well if you have been FOS for hours you may have noticed as show start is getting closer that people walk in and place their body right in front of you, then they start making space for themselves and the soon to come lady and best friend and a cople more, then you find yourself moving back some positions and you have many tall guys at 6 foot 4 i.e. 1 meter 90 cm in front of you. They push you away. Lots of noise and the security guys have spotted it of course. So by the time the Stones hit the stage you find yourself in the middle of a discussion rather than enjoying the show. Might happen at a large field. Less probably in the pit.

I posted THIS on Nov 29 as a note I sent to both Ticketek and Frontier:

.I live in Perth. I purchased, BASED ON THE VENUE MAP STILL ON YOUR WEBSITE, 2 tickets which are in A1, Row A for the Adelaide show. I purchased BECAUSE these are front row seats. I understand from others now posting on fansites that their appear to be BLOCKS of seats in front of A1-A4. THESE blocks eg, SA2-A which I am reading about, are NOT on your venue maps. IS this correct? As I do not think BLOCKS of seats in front of what is clearly front of stage per your venue maps could possibly count as seats being "handed back from promoters as no longer being needed for promotional purposes". WILL I FIND BLOCKS OF PEOPLE SITTING IN FRONT OF ME? WILL I NOT BE AT FRONT OF STAGE AS I PURCHASED? .

Ticketek responded today that I should CALL them

However, Frontier responded today as well, as under:

Thanks for your email – these are DEFINITELY front row seats ! The confusion arises from how Ticketek "build" the seats for other corporate packages – but if you are Row A you are front row. Its going to be awesome!

So - happy days!

I can only fully agree with BV. As me and my wife are both not tall we always have the trouble getting good spots if the event is open standing. Sometimes people can be very rude. Anyway in teh US security saw you on your spot when you had the pre entry package and they ensured that you will hold your space until the show starts. I do hope that this will be also in Australia.

"Lucky Dip" info now posted on RS.com.
Seems to be limited to the Australia and New Zealand shows.

Looks similar to the $85 tickets for the USA concerts.

This is interesting as it sounds like we have similar tickets. I have SA2, premium, row A. I have emailed them too.

Yeah, I used to hate it when 2 minutes before the Stones hit the stage groups of drunks push to the front making trouble.Last time it nearly ruined a show for me was at the '99 Shep.Bush Club gig.

I tried to pay my Dubai ticket.
I couldn`t pay my ticket because ticketmaster needs a secure code for my credit card.
Here in Germany a secure code has a minimum of 6 signs ( digits and letters )
Ticketmaster.ae allows only 4 digits.
Could anybody buy a ticket from ticketmaster.ae?

The secure code are the 3 digits on the back of your card.

This will probably get lost here but has anyone heard anything about Singapore recently? I can't see them biding their time for ten days after China till Perth. Don't see them holidaying or shooting home either.

Let's hope!

I think the announcement of additional concerts will come after the general sale for Australia/New Zealand on Monday.

Hope so, would really like to do Macau and also Shanghai - which hopefully will be confirmed as the next one after Macau. It would make sense I guess, after all - Singapore is somewhat closer to Perth than Shanghai. so if they're basically moving southwards after Japan, I imagine it'll be Shanghai first and then Singapore.

I might actually end up using some of the 300,000 British Airways (aaaaaaaaagh shock horror) air miles I've got, and what a thoroughly good use of them it would be too !! cool smiley
