I think that now there is a quite big chance to a European Tour

I don't like that they are putting out official news on the EU tour before the rescheduled dates for AUS/NZ or at least new word on the rescheduleling process. Another kick in the guts.

Totally agree, but for arena shows I was expecting the tonguepit stage. We might have to wait for that one in AustraliaQuote

Waldbühne is of course an arena, also Telenor Arena with just 25,000 people. Two out of 14, then a few stadiums, then a few festivals. I think the info is pretty accurate.
If they played 14 arena only shows in Europe then it would have been higher ticket prices and only 250,000 fans total who could see them. Now they will perform in front of 800,000 fans i.e. close to one million people. Big difference.

Any venue that holds a football field is not an "arena", at least not to this American English speaker.

Telenor Arena is too wide and deep for the tongue stage (football floor). Waldbühne is a natural amphi and there is no space for any kinds of artificial tongue pit stage, all natural as part of the hillside amphi. I think the Stones realized it was either large shows for many fans or exclusive shows for the few.
They could have played Oslo Sperktum capacity 9,000 and ticket price 3.500 kr i.e 600 dollars with the tongue pit stage but I am glad they did not. Then 16,000 fans would have to be outside. Same with any other arena in Europe. There are very few 20,000 capacity hockey arena's in Europe, like they have basket/hockey arenas in USA.
