Hi DandelionPowderman
No bittersweet sentiments - Just posting my experience. Not trying to put him down - I have the highest regard for MT. Only telling it like it was.

This thread is almost 10 years old and need not be revived. The boss (bv) don't like it when you do that. Start a new thread, Drummer Boy.

When you have played hundreds of shows with Mick Taylor, we will make an exception for him! I'm sure Bjørnulf will, too.

One of the tracks on his first solo effort was called Alabama. I wrote the lyrics for that. I should add that I wrote more verses than Mick sang - knowing him he probably mislaid the others.
That's very interesting. According to the Taylorites here he would never do such a thing - it would be him that gets exploited

Tatters- You never know what your gonna get with this guy, very moody....
but alot of the "greats" are quirkey... he toured Canada after 2001 so....
If the Stones asked him to come along and play some gigs in N. America, he'd
be there in a flash!!!! MLC

I always got the impression that he admired Jeff Beck's playing a lot.
