Why these BluRay releases which are created by us fans in hours of work and made available for free on sites like IORR?

Don't know, it was by chance.

Sometimes the 'HotStuff' links to the Sharehosters are dead, sometimes people love it to buy it simply "out-of-the-box" (meant 'ready-to-use') ..... and so on.

These releases are all available in the StonesVault on IORR. You'll find them in the MfG series. I understand that it is nice to have a real silver CD or DVD like Rattlesnake or DAC offers them but the shop you named just presses a download from IORR on a DVDr and prints the cover. If you download for free buy yourself a DVDr and print the cover you won't even pay $1 at all ... the shop asks $28 for a DVDr.

If you don't buy that straight copies you will have more money to see the Stones live in 2014!!! The savings on 5 copies downloaded equal one GA ticket...

It's pretty complicated. You have to fill out a form online. they send you an email with instructions on how to send them your obi from the product as a proof of purchase. They will send you back the obi with a "tongue stamp" on the reverse side, together with the CD. Doesn't look like they'll mail this overseas.

That's strange... Are these official or is it just a bootleg offered to those who bought Sweet Summer Sun?

I haven't even gotten round to understanding what an OBI number is, that drbryant mentions.
But yeah, it would be very nice to have this.

The OBI is the paper strip on the left side around the DVD/BR case:

I assume that you have to send this OBI (Deluxe Edition VQXD-10071, Blu-ray+3CD VQXD-10069, DVD+3CD VQBD-10161) to Ward Records as a proof of purchase.
