Happy Birthday to the great Mick Taylor. Not sure if this has been reported before but on the Stones website it confirms that Mick will be touring with the band on 14 On Fire tour.

To me that statement has a real feelgood factor to it about Mick T perhaps working with the band again in the studio.

Watching the admiration on Jagger and Richard's faces when Mick T stepped forward for his Midnight |Rambler slot in the Hyde Park film warmed the cockles of my heart.

I think this story is going to have a good ending.

I agree with you 100%. They're still referring to him as a special guest, so who knows if he will ever be reinstated as a fulltime member. Maybe he or the band or both even prefer this arrangement. Whatever, at least he's back in the fold, and I think it's best this way. This story will have a good ending and, also, when he's too old to perform , he'll have earned a good income and retire in style.

wish I could name the photographer. this shot is my favorite and there are a lot of great photos, from '12 and '13.
BV took many of them, but not this one I don't think..

I was 8 when Mick left the Stones so I was thrilled to see him on stage with Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie at the O2 and at Hyde Park.
