Mick's been in some very critically successful movies (and some stinkers). Hasn't made a big budget movie ever has he? Freejack maybe?

What has Keith done except 'play himself' in Depp's flick?

But in all fairness, Jagger's most memorable role has been playing... hmmm... a spoiled rock star...

But true that Jagger's films have been a bit more ambitious... Not Walt Disney stuff exactly, to say it mildly (except that FREEJACK maybe).

It is kind of funny that Jagger seems to be more artistically than money driven when it goes to movies (his roles and the stuff he produces) than in music.

Keith's just having some fun with his movie appearances, the Pirates thing only happened because he's friends with Depp. I doubt we'd see KR in anything on the big screen otherwise. I'm sure he enjoys the money, too.

Mick takes movie making and acting much more seriously and I say good for him. It's obviously an artistic outlet for him.

Actually, good for both of them...it's not a competition, despite the imaginings of some fans here.

Disney should stick with the cartoons. Everything else they make is just bad taste.

I didnt much care for this movie, but I have to admit Jagger wasn't too bad as a male prostitute who falls in love with his client ( Angelica Houston)

I'm sure it is fun for him, or he wouldn't be doing it.

He has some little ones, in his clan. Maybe he does it for them? If I were a little kid and my gramps was a pirate in a big movie. Shit, that would be awesome. Who knows?
