I bought the blu ray version which features the booklet of nice photos from of the concerts from 69 and 2013, contains the 1969 video (which I haven't watched yet) and the audio CDs. Some observations: I've listened to the CDs and I think the sounds sucks on my stereo (and I have a very high end system). Surprisingly though, as whole, I thought the performances were pretty solid and energetic but I think it is time to ditch Paint It Black. It just slows down the set. That song should be performed at the tempo the way it was first played via the Steel Wheels tour.

after all pre-release, cinema, release and get the item, i think the best choice is amazon.co.uk deluxe version for price and quality...
american deluxe gives a short 69 dvd that increases almost 30usd the price... japanese for greatest collectors, and bluray or single dvd for non plus-ultra fans...
well, enjoy whatever you got!

Are the recordings on the "Sweet Summer Sun" CDs/LPs the same as on the download album "Hyde Park Live"? The track listing looks like it. But are there maybe different versions of a song, since they had two concerts to choose from?

The download album and the DVD feature alternate versions of Tumbling Dice,
You Got The Silver, Miss You, Midnight Rambler, Jumping Jack Flash and
Sympathy For The Devil. Besides that there are some differences in mix and editing. Don't know if there are notable differences between the CD/LP and the download album.

The weird thing is that Keith can often be seen locating the correct fret before or as he walks on stage...so goodness knows how he still manages to hit the wrong chord on an opening number. Just nerves and adrenelin I suspect.

I suspect the explanation is as simple as that he just doesn't care (enough)...

I have to disagree with you here, my friend. I think he genuinely is nervous at the start of shows these days. And at the first O2 show last year, you could clearly hear it in his voice, speaking to the audience, when he started his own "set." (Probably doesn't come across on tape, but very noticeable to my friend and me.) After a while, he settles down.

He might be a little nervous, but he sure knows how to feed off it too - hence the enormous cheers he got from the crowd, and the long waits before he continued talking.

I'd agree with you on that, certainly. But I don't think any of it is because he doesn't care anymore. I think maybe he cares more than anyone.

Well--I think they "care" in different senses, maybe.

Ok, have to ask this question once more: Is it now 100% confirmed every song except satisfaction being recorded July 13?
