I'm sure we've all seen these pics from the 1970 gig in Paris. I always wondered about them, does any one knows how this happened? Did Jagger invited them on stage under certain concitions or was it a spontanious happening? Where they removed from stage by security or did Mick asked them to leave?

Yes, I know there has been this endless discussion about the girls breasts in the first pic, but (at the moment) my interrest is not in the anatomy of the girls on stage, but what had happened. Meaning was it spontanious or put in scene? etc. What is the story behind the happening?

I think it's a myth anyway, I've sang Sweet Neocon to numerous girls but nothing was removed.
Maybe try a different song.
Anyway, maybe it was a Hippy Dippy (as Mick Jagger used to call them) type of thing. Your know flower power, free love..that type of thing. Those colorful days are long gone I'm afraid.

You're getting warmer in the second photo. I don't see her though. She was literally climbing over people to get onto the stage.

Well, I don't know. But that seems the most logical explanation. Because in the footage that exists of the Paris concert you see that every one that tries to get on stage are pushed back by security, so that rules out a spontanious action on the part of those girls alone since security would have stepped in immediatly. And it didn't seem to be part of the 1970 tour show either, because I didn't see that in the Amsterdam show, or came across similair pics from other shows the Stones did.
Times have changed dramatically, women today showing their naked breasts are mainly viewed as a sexual thing but back than it was an important act of "liberation" for women. There was very much the view that women had been forced through the centuries to wear such things as the bra so that their body would look sexually attractive for men, whether the bra was comfortable or not for women was not an issue. Therefor young women at that time started to view the bra as a kind of chains that the female was forced to wear by the dominant male specie. The refusal to wear bra's was really in the first place an act of rebellion.
You're claiming now for over 25 years you have all kind of video's, though you never prove anything. It is getting pitiful.

Seems like a lot of that was going on at outdoor concerts back then..both men and women alike. I feel sorry for that woman, not only was she pushed off the stage but one of the Hell's Angels kicked her in the head, as well. Lovely bunch weren't the?

Yes, I know what you are talking about. You sure that's not the same girl earlier in the day. Looks like she is climbing over people going in the opposite direction (I think her right hand is on the back of a girl sitting).

No, the other girl had black hair, bigger boobs, and was prettier. I've been looking online for a photo of her, but I can't find it. I'm sure you'll see her if you look at some Altamont videos on You Tube...or the Gimme Shelter movie.

I have this show on video (sadly not complete though). The girls were part of the show that night, and were invited on stage by the band.
