Ronnie Wood's new album Mr. Luck, A Tribute to Jimmy Reed is released in September and, as he did with Chuck Berry on the album Mad Lad , this time the tribute is to the great Jimmy Reed with the tribute concert of the Ronnie Wood Band as part of the Bluesfest, which took place at London's Royal Albert Hall on November 1, 2013, and featured special guests such as Mick Taylor, Bobby Womack, Mick Hucknall and Paul Weller. The album will be available in two formats: conventional CD and double LP (the latter in limited edition)
For the occasion, the band consisted of RW (vocals, guitar, harmonica) / Mick Taylor (guitar) / Dave Green (double bass) / Dexter Hercules (drums) / Ian Jennings (bass) / Ben Waters (piano), plus the Special guest Tom Hare (guitar, vocals) on Baby What You Want Me To Do, Bobby Womack (guitar, vocals) on Big Boss Man and Bright Lights Big City, Mick Hucknall (vocals) on Got Nowhere To Go and Paul Weller ( guitar, voice) in Shame Shame Shame.
* The concert was originally recorded by the London radio BBc2
