Widdle widdle. grinning smiley

You really don't hear the difference between good widdeling and bad widdeling, HM ? grinning smiley

I can, but the widdling is coming from non original stones. It's like listening to The Beatles and having some guitarist come in and widdle all over all of the songs. grinning smiley

Authentic stones guitar widdling...

This track is from the boot "Trident Mixes" ; Still A Fool.
My source says; July 1968. Mobile at Redlands and Olympic. Producer Jimmy Miller.

I meant officially released, runaway. It's a great recording.

Here is the live take they did in 1995:

Just Olympic and most likley from May 1968.

No recordings from Redlands have made it on to bootleg.

I cast my vote for the LA Friday 1975. There's not many JJF's that are not great, but this one is pretty damn good.

If Mick would've just put a little more effort into actually singing it rather than grunting it I might agree with you. Or at least understand. He's the weak link in that.

WOW!

I have always loved these versions the best, in order by these artists:

1. Stones - Ladies & Gentlemen 1972 - Keith is soooooo on on this one!
2. Stones - Saville 1969 - absolutely blows YaYas out of the water
3. Leon Russell - Bangladesh - OH MY GOD!
4. Johnny Winter And - LIve 1971 - love those pops!
5. Leon Russell & New Grass Revival - live LP from 1979 - Sam Bush is AMAZING!
6. Flamin Groovies - single version
7. Stones - "video" version with "Yeahs"

Just my $0.02.
