Loving it!!!!

Singing along with Emotional Resque and Miss You all morning long.
Emotional is a fine song on the record but they've turned it into a great party song live!!!!

Always liked Miss You but it sounds so much more fresh this tour.
The Glastonbury version is my favourite. that middle part just has so much groove with the lead up to Darryl's solo.

Sounds great to me. Captures what I liked so much about the tour. Realest versions of the warhorses probably since they reunited in the 80's. The band plays great together, almost Winos-esque. Jagger's best vocals since the 70's.

No. 3 in ITunes Album Charts this morning in Germany - Love it!

Not a big fan of iTunes either and I prefer to stream music to my i.Phone, but hey, what can a poor boy do!

Just noticed in the credits that UMG is involved in the release, has the contract been renewed or is it still within the original 5 year contract?

You're spot on, Ronnie is playing fantastic, but what about Charlie? He was immense at both HP shows, for someone of his age to still be so 'on the money' and at the top of his game is incredible.

Maybe the CD version will show up later, including HP2's rendition of Midnight Rambler and HP1's version of Gimme Shelter and Happy instead of Before They Make Me Run...
Then this would become a virtual collector's item and the CD would be bought by even more people !

The problem I have with i Tunes on my pc is that I don't really get it. I just don't like software that tries to 'synchronise' everything from everywhere. I just want to manage files through Windows explorer, old fashioned dragging, copying and pasting.

If I can't turn audio files to mp3 and move them to a usb-stick for plugging in my car audiosystem easily, I'm done. I must be becoming either clumsy, or old fashioned, or both.

For example, recently I did a voice-recording of a meeting on my i.Phone, standard voicerecorder. I can find it on i Tunes through my pc, however I just can't seem to move it from the phone to the pc let alone find it in explorer. I just gave up.

I was suggesting a change of 3 songs for the potential CD release.
It'd be a perfect release with HP2's MR
The other 2 changes would just put a little more interest in buying both versions.

wow. i never, ever thought i'd see a day when there was an official live version of you've got the silver available. and now there are two. being a stones fan can be weird sometimes. pretty cool.

Don't know if I'll be listening to it much in ten or twenty years time. But for now it's an extremely welcome little souvenir of what was, for many of us, the greatest few weekends in recent history. Incredible weather, hanging in the Park and seeing the Stones and ,for the lucky few, getting to go to Glastonbury.

I do like the mix on this though .. the audience is mixed really high and it's got a semi-bootleg feel to it.
I will be cycling through Hyde Park this week and I will take this on my ipod and pretend it's all happening again.

it is a good mix. keyboards a little loud for my taste.... i don't want to hear a fake piano in start me up. but otherwise, very cool that they did this.
